At River Oaks Church, our way of fostering safe environments that are conducive to spiritual growth, deepening relationships and personal connections, is through our Small Group Ministry that we call Connect Groups.  As their name implies, they are more than just Bible Studies, they are intentional gatherings of like-minded people who study God's Word together, but who also love and support one another, pray for one another, encourage one another, and spur one another on to love and good works (Hebrews 10:24).  Connect Groups help develop friendships that grow beyond the mere enjoyment of fellow church members to becoming those 3:00 am friends on whom you know you can count when life gets hard and times get rough.  Most of our groups meet once per week for a couple of hours - usually on weeknights in individual homes at various places throughout the community. Some groups include children, some are empty-nesters, while a couple others are designed for men only or for women only.
